Total Solar Eclipse Photography with Jeff Sagar

The total solar eclipse will be crossing over in totality on April 8th, 2024. This presentation will discuss how to photograph and experience this awe inspiring event.

In this course, you’ll learn what an eclipse is, what photo equipment is needed to capture the event, safety precautions, a plan for the day of the Eclipse, and so much more!

Every attendee will also recieve a FREE pair of eclipse glasses!

About the Instructor, Jeff Sagar:

“It’s all my uncle’s fault, he let me use his camera to take a few shots when I was around 12 and it sparked my passion for photography…there was something very special about clicking that shutter and capturing a special moment! I’m now retired from a 40 year career in Information Technology and am excited to be out there capturing beautifullandscape and nature images. I also teach photography classes and I have a busy real estate photography business.

What I love about photography is that it’s a beautiful melding of something a little technical that also engages the artistic part of me. For me, photography is really all about the journey – planning the trip, discovering and exploring new places, learning and experimenting with different techniques, and meeting interesting people along the way.

Even before my interest in photography started, I was fascinated by everything about the sun, moon, planets, stars and the whole universe. As a teenager I built my own reflecting telescope, and my goal was to take pictures through it, thus the connection with my passion for photography.”
