Prerequisite: Attendees should take Darkroom 101 and 102 first, or have knowledge of film exposure AND film developing. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you have questions about skills needed for this class!

What will be covered:
Tools and chemistry necessary to develop a B&W silver gelatin print
Discussing different types of printing paper
Evaluating negatives and proofing
Creating test strips and finding the right time and contrast for print
Enlarging a final print on 8x10” RC paper
Needed for class:
Developed roll of 35mm negatives
Pen & paper for notes
Clothes you would not mind getting dirty
By the end of the night, attendees will have successfully proofed their entire roll of 35mm film onto silver gelatin paper and created at least one 8x10” enlarged, finished print.
